Collection: Tha bar wa collection

Tha bar wa means nature in Burmese.
The spirit of this collection is alive in this excerpt from Mary Oliver's poem,
Sleeping in the forest.
".....nothing between me and the white fire
of the stars but my thoughts, and they floated
light as moths among the branches of the
perfect trees. All night I heard the small kingdoms
breathing around me, the insects and the birds
who do their work in the darkness..."
We celebrate the mastery of our Karenni and Lahu artisans, who in the face of such dark times have created such beauty in these limited edition pieces of weaving and appliqué.
